Sun rising in January

My intentions of posting more regularly fell somewhere between wishful thinking and life’s chaotic sense of humor. Moving into a new home brings a cascade of unexpected challenges that effortlessly devour every second of the day. I do take pictures though which remind me why we moved to the countryside.

So here I am, bidding January farewell with a few sunrises captured along the way.

Who knows, maybe the days and months that follow I’ll return to normalcy!

For January music, head to Oannes‘ blog to listen. He’s also doing a tribute on David Lynch [RIP]. At least one of us has been active here!

  1. And now it’s already the last day of February, and we’re ready to March into spring. Countryside living seems to agree with you. (That opening photograph, by the way, was especially gorgeous.)

    • …we’ve already Marched into signs of spring! Thanks, my friend.

I am gradually beginning to enjoy countryside living. Still a lot of adjusting to do. Hours of the day are never enough!

  2. Good luck in your new digs. That countryside looks beautiful and beautifully photographed. Happy New Year!

As for regular blogging, I started my blog with the subtitile Everydayanotherstory!

Good to see you. You’ve redone your site beautifully too.

  3. Your photos are stunning, Marina, and life does have an interesting sense of humor, doesn’t it? I hope the chaos dies down for you, but in the meantime, take care of you! Love and hugs coming your way, dear friend. xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

  4. Marina, give yourself a break. Relocating is a huge deal. I’ve made several moves, all on my own, including three moves across the entire country. I feel for you.
Thanks for sharing these beautiful sunsets. Hugs.

  5. What’s normal, Marina? The dust will settle & we look forward to receiving new posts from you soon! Spring is not far off so enjoy it there in your new home & location! 🤗💐🙋‍♂️

  7. Isn’t it interesting and fascinating how sunrise is different every day. Many don’t know this because they never get out of bed to witness the beauty. Love the collection – and for me – the opener was the best. Hang in there. Then again, you are fine. Yamas!

    • You’re right… many don’t notice. Even similar sunrises are different.

Yes, the opener was this morning. What’s fascinating is how colors change every minute, from dawn to full sunrise.

Thanks, my friend. Issues aside, I’m fine indeed! 😉

      Yamas!

  8. Stunning, dahling. Gorgous images.

I can totally see why you moved there.

Normalcy? It that something I should know about?

Things will get more routine, and you will find time within that!

    Ahh, music!

  9. Beautiful photos. What a beautiful morning with colorful clouds and fog in the valley. You live in your own piece of paradise now.
