One more for the poppies

Hard to resist more poppy views—they’re blooming everywhere… but they won’t linger long.

Poppies, they’re tough. Elusive. Their color practically sings, glowing with a depth my camera can’t fully snag. So, I went a bit wild with the shots, chasing that spark.

Poppies hum with fire,
Lens begs for their vivid heart,
Earth just winks at me.

…and wink she does as I faithfully try to grab their soul

yet grab I can’t

sneaking behind shrubs

They’re way bolder in real life

Perfect dividers

like rivers flowing

gracefully surrounding olive trees

Forgive the overload. My eyes are dazzled, but my lens is still chasing their fire!

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

  1. I absolutely love this post, Marina! Poppies are one of my faves, and we have more orange around here than red. Your words and photos are gorgeous! Love, love, love! Hugs to you! xoxoxo 🌺🌺

  2. Beautiful post, Marina. The olive trees look old. It’s good that the boss stops to smell the flowers.

    • I wanted to simplify it [as much as possible with so many directions!]. The puzzle look with the photos looked nice but I think the structure was a bit confusing.

I know it takes time to get used to [for me too!]

So happy you like it though, dahlin!

  3. I love this!

    You are the Poppy goddess!

    Hera is the Poppy girl.

Together you make a beautiful world better!

    • Aw, dahlin, you are the sweetest!

I never thought that our home would be surrounded by poppies! Poppy happiness! 😉

You are the Poppy Queen, wearing them so well! 😉

….and more sponges for what follows!
