Πριν λίγα χρόνια είχαμε ανεβάσει τη φωνητική βερσιόν του κομματιού (τίτλος : “Resurrection”, άκου εδώ) από το άλμπουμ του Brian May Back To The Light, κυκλοφορία του 1992. Την ίδια χρονιά, ο θρύλος των ντραμς και συν-συνθέτης του κομματιού, Cozy Powell, κυκλοφορεί το δικό του σόλο άλμπουμ, The Drums Are Back. Εκεί ακούγεται η οργανική βερσιόν του “Resurrection” με διαφορετικό τίτλο: “Ride To Win”. Προσωπικά την προτιμώ : η έμφαση βρίσκεται στην κιθάρα, όσο για τον κύριο May, έχει εδώ ξεπεράσει τον εαυτό του.

Some years ago, we’ve posted the vocal version of the song (title : “Resurrection”, listen here) from Brian May’s album Back To The Light, released in 1992. That same year, drumming legend and co-composer of the song, Cozy Powell, released his own solo album, The Drums Are Back. There you can hear the instrumental version of “Resurrection” with a different title: “Ride To Win”. I personally prefer this one : the emphasis is on the guitar, and as for mr. May, he’s overtaken himself.
