There was once a Moon

…a Strawberry Moon, sometime in June.

Captured over two nights, its rosy glow danced through leaves.

With the New Moon near, here’s a lunar tale to light your way!

Okay, I made it before the end of June. I call that progress! 😉

the supervisor ready to howl!

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

  1. LOL, Hera does look excited about that moon. Wonderful photos, Marina.
Did I ever tell you that Hera is the name of my “imaginary” dog? Living alone, Years ago, I started this — when I have to deal with a stranger that I don’t trust, I mention my dog Hera. She has a full backstory. Haha. It’s silly, I know. I only mention it because I never expected to encounter anyone with a real dog named Hera. Hugs.

    • Thank you, my dear Teagan! I think she was more fed up with me for staying out in the garden so long! 🤣 LOL on the imaginary dog! Of course she has a full backstory! 🙂 Hera is quite a common name for dogs here however we thought it was perfect for her as Hera was a very misunderstood mythological deity. Many hugs back and tail wags from Hera! xoxoxo

  2. Marina – WOW!!!! What a stunning capture of the Strawberry Moon—and Hera makes the perfect supervisor! I can almost hear the howl of approval. Thank you for sharing such beauty and joy. 🌕🐾

    • Thank you so much, my dearest Rebecca! Yes, nothing gets to be shared without her approval. She sends tail wags and kisses, but look out for my hugs too! 😉 xoxo

  3. Full moon in June – – such brilliant details Marina it looks as though you did a fly past for all these close-ups. Lots of lovely strawberries ripening here – I only ever eat the locals 😉
p.s. the portrait of Hera shows her quizzical side 🙂

    • Before I knew it the New Moon was here! Could be that with the garden I’ve entered a time warp! As for strawberries, me too! 😉

Hera is probably fed up with me telling her every now and then, ‘that’s it, we’re going back in now” and another 10 minutes go… 🤣

  4. Happy Tuesday dear Marina!

Your couple of Lunar Lunacy images are fabulous.
