More about these reblogs
Lately I have been rebloging music videos from Oannes new blog. For my friends who didn’t know, or wonder why…. Oannes [aka Socratis Papahatzis] is my husband, partner in life and music and the one with my undying admiration. Together we have a band MK-O [the music of Marina Kanavaki & Oannes]. So, it’s my pleasure to share with you his [and mine] musical selections. • Although here I reblog mainly his musical selections, he writes exceptional articles on various topics [some may need translation], so do visit his site. He has my highest recommendation!

This is wonderful Marina, I love it! xoxoxo
xoxoxo 🙂 Did you watch Lost In Space?
Thank you for the dedication.
The Cincinnati Pops are a long tradition of excellence. Fans love JMR … and to think he followed a Pops legend on the podium .. Erich Kunzel. Whereas many thought Kunzel would go to Boston to replace legendary Arthur Fiedler, the Boston Pops chose Cincinnati’s associate conductor to led them – and (then very young) Keith Lockhart. Meanwhile, Cincinnati Pops excellence continues.
My pleasure!!!!
Wow, I didn’t know those facts!
And I just found out that Erich Kunzel was born same day as me! 😉
Have a lovely weekend, my friend!
Yamas! 🙂
Oh wow … Maestro Kunzel knew how to play to the crowd. He was also the conductor of the National Pops (named?) televised concerts on Fourth of July for many years. Although his ego was a bit large, the audience loved him.
