Bach.

One of the things that impressed me in my first contact with the world of classical music was the neutral, utilitarian way in which most of the works are titled.
In contrast to the imaginative, poetic names you come across in “light music” [rock, pop, jazz etc. – my musical world back then], tracks like “this” have titles like “Fugue in A minor, BWV 543” by J.S. Bach. Simple as that.

  1. This is beautiful, Marina. I don’t listen to classical music, but I do have an appreciation for the music and the incredible talent combined. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful week ahead! Hugs! 🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼💗💗💗💗💗

  2. This is amazing! Coincidentally I just came across a Bach piece played on mandolin by a virtuoso named Chris Thile. Simply beautiful. It’s 15 min. with a couple annoying advertisements but well worth a listen! Here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3lH_Tevw5o Bach: Sonata No. 1 in G Minor, BWV 1001 (Complete). Just wait until IV. Presto
