…well, more like muddy, or dirty.
❄️
Medea is gone
and with her,
all that white fluff.
In the corners of the streets
there are still some piles of dirt snow
obviously waiting for some weirdo
to take their picture.

…and the accomplice!
❄️
Happy Saturday!

Most people try to avoid photographing dirt on snow, myself included! You are one of the few brave pioneers who will do it… and so effectively! 🙂
Is it like a “no-no” photographing dirt on snow? Well… I thought it was the compassionate thing to do to something that gave so much joy while it was white and fluffy! 😉 No bravery, but I’m happy you liked it! 🙏😊
Up here we can get prologued periods of dirty, icy snow with patches of concrete showing which for me epitomizes the crummy side of Canadian winter… at least in cities. It’s cleaner in the countryside. Hence my aversion… it brings back years of memories of this awkward time of year.
However, with climate change, everything is different and less predictable than the old patterns… 🌎🌎🌏🌆🌇🏙️😄
That’s understandable. I hope I didn’t bring back ugly memories…
lol… no no no probs. It’s all part of the great unfolding… dealing with childhood nags… 😄😃
☀️🎶😀
I remember dirty snow quite well from my years growing up in the suburbs of New York. Not many people document it.
Well… I thought it was trying to impress me in its own way! I had to oblige! 😉
Wonderful! But scary how the weather is going…
Have a great week!
Thank you! 🙂 Well, with all the madness around us, you can’t expect the weather to be unaffected! 😉
You too, my dear friend! 🙏
And so the circle of life continues to ebb and flow. We have lost all of our snow in Vancouver! Spring is impatient to return. Persephone is coming back to us!!
Ah, yes, the circle of life! Happy to hear about Persephone. I think we have to wait till March is over before we know about her arrival! 😉 Happy Monday, my dear Rebecca and a beautiful week ahead!
Many hugs!
I enjoy a snowy scene, just don’t like driving in it. We’ve only had a light dusting in London this winter but in Kirkcaldy Scotland where my brother lives they got quite few inches last week, he was inspired to make a snowman.
Oh, yes, driving in it is a bit of an adventure! 😉
Glad that at least your brother made a snowman!
Happy Monday, my dear Charlotte!
😘
Even dirty snow offers the element of art. 🙂 Great shots, Marina! Enjoy your day! 💓❄💓❄
It does, doesn’t it? So glad you enjoyed them, Lauren! A wonderful Sunday and week ahead to you!!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

some interesting forms there in the remnants. Lucky some weirdo happened by with a camera.
✨🌻🌿🙏🕉🤍♾🕊☯🙏🌿🌻✨
Weirdo thanks you for understanding!!!!
Too bad it was a phone camera, but still, I’m glad I …caught them! 😉
Thank you, my friend!
🙏✨🙏
If it weren’t for the gritty stuff, some of these look like delicious confections. Is that an orange or tangerine?
That’s how I saw them too! 😉
It’s a bigarade [bitter orange]. They’re used a lot in the streets and they make a delicious spoon sweet. Happy Sunday with many hugs!
Ugh …. the downside of snow.
Especially if you accidentally step on it! 😱😂😂
Black is black,
I want my white snow back
If grey is grey
Don’t want it anyway,
What can I do?
I’m feelin’ blue? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkwmSzPdVnYx this will hurt Socrates ears.

…from all of us!!!!!!!!
Aw I hate sloshy snow, crazy how fast it changes
Very fast and sloshy can be dangerous too!
Definitely, although still not as bad as black ice
😉 😉
That weirdo found wonderful sculptural shapes, masterfully framing and composing them, as shifty as they were under the Delphic glow, immortalizing them like the One forcing them to change their shapes along their way into oblivion.
Is that an orange jaw breaker candy in the third to the last photo? I like how you don’t miss the fine details like that. I see you had a fine accomplice to inspire your fine sense of finding such wonderful artistry in the melting snow.
Awww….. weirdo is blushing big time!
Thank you, my friend. I think if you look you can find beauty everywhere. I know you know that! 😉
The orange is bigarade [bitter orange]. Many streets have those trees. They make a very tasty spoon sweet.
The accomplice is Eve, my parents pup. She loves ice.
How quickly it want from pure white to well… yanno 😉
I know right!
xoxoxo
The joys… not
