Ακούμε αποσπάσματα από το soundtrack για την ταινία επιστημονικής φαντασία των early ‘80s, Saturn 3. Να πούμε, μια και η λέξη κλειδί της εποχής είναι το …diversity, ότι ο EB έχει μια σπάνια άνεση κινήσεων ανάμεσα στα στιλ, και δεν εννοώ απλώς τον χειρισμό ενός εκάστου, αλλά και το συνδυασμό τους στο πλαίσιο της ίδιας σύνθεσης.

Another giant of cinematic music and one of my favorites is Elmer Bernstein. We hear excerpts from his soundtrack for the early ’80s sci-fi film, Saturn 3. Let’s say here, since “diversity” is the key word of our era, that EB has a rare gift of moving easily between styles and I don’t mean just handling each one of them, but also combining them in the context of one composition.
