Two of the numerous versions of the all-time blues classic.
There is an interesting contrast between the deranged state of the first recording, with hollers coming out of the bowels of the earth [Muddy Waters – Rollin And Tumblin Part 2, 1950] and the air of confidence exuded by the second one [Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, 1991] a product of an era in which the blues man enjoys at last the status of a respectable artist.
