my imaginary forest in yellow, umber, sepia, ocher, goldenrod … earth hues

    Thank you.
    Have a Blessed 2023.

  2. I’ve always been a big watercolor fan. This is a very intriguing composition– lovely. Thanks for providing the detail images as well. Great to be able to see your technique up close. : )

    • Thank you so much, Mark. Your words mean a lot!
The reason why I show details is that I have this thing for textures and enlarging a watercolor brings out such beautiful textures… I really don’t consider myself a “master’ [good heavens] of watercolor, or any medium for that matter. I simply use them to my advantage [that sounds pretty horrible, doesn’t it?!] 🙂
I’m very happy following your beautiful work!
      🙂

  3. beautiful…what I like about your work is that you keep it so simple. and the colors are so pleasing to the eye…(But keeping it simple is difficult )….thank s for sharing..

    • Thank you, Anne! 🙂
Sometimes I get this feeling that colors I may not be that fond of, try to do their best to please me! That’s when it hits me: I love them all! 🙂

  4. What an incredible scene. I love the spaciousness and clump of trees in the distance. A sunrise of the spirit. Beautiful.

  5. Marina,

I admire how you blend the woods into the earth, yet still convey a separate root system; all the while making it all float!.
