Week 49, like Funk 49†, had some groovy licks with tentacled blooming Oobleck, early Eco-friendly exhaust, a calendar, album covers and a log.
†back in the mid 1970s Joel and I had a garage band and one of our first songs we learned to play was “Funk 49”. Joel said he was asked to play as a stand-in guitarist for a group in Las Vegas, NV a couple a weeks ago. He called me to let me know one of the songs on the groups playlist was “Funk 49”. Funk 49 is now 53 years old.
I have to hear it!!! 😉
