Nature has a way with beauty,

even in decay

and from death to birth…

suddenly comes up

with tiny green flames.

  1. Lacy art created by bugs! I had my rosebush leaves chomped into a lacy creations by those bleeping Japanese beetles…

And these are beautiful spring photos! That green just screams new life, doesn’t it?

  2. there ought to be a paint colour called ‘tender green’ after those leaves – lovely definition in your photos Marina and you had me intrigued as to fig blossom with that last photo…and now I read that it has none discernible as the fruit is a pocket full of female flowers. No wonder Persephone took them to the very male underworld of Dis!

    • ‘Tender green’ sounds perfect! One green name that resembles yet nowhere near yours, is chartreuse. I’m amazed I didn’t know that about figs. And to think it’s my only favorite fruit. I always look forward to August when their time is. That last photo is by a flower from -what we call here- weeds! They are everywhere this time of year.
