Ο Johannes Brahms υπήρξε, εκτός άλλων, ο μεγαλύτερος πολυφωνιστής της εποχής του [μέσα – τέλη 19ου αι.]. Αυτό φαίνεται κυρίως στα θρησκευτικά του μοτέτα – από τις λιγότερο γνωστές πτυχές του δημιουργικού του έργου. Ακούμε δυο απ΄ αυτά, από τους Corydon Singers υπό τη διεύθυνση του Matthew Best.

Johannes Brahms was, among other things, the greatest contrapuntalist of his time [mid- late 19th century]. This shows more than anywhere in his religious motets – from the lesser-known aspects of his creative work. We hear two of them performed by the Corydon Singer. Direction: Matthew Best.
