Don’t even mention it, dahlin!
…and I’ve been lost in lack of notifications [got a new phone and because of turning off notifications -silly me, I thought just on my phone!- I’m 3 days behind with answering comments!
Mouah!
A sweet – happy week to you Dahlin!

Ah…but you see it wasn’t raining! I created it by moving my camera! The picture is lights by the sea at night. 😉 So happy you like it, my sweet friend! xoxoxoxo
Do you find it better in general to move the camera up or to move the camera down, or possibly both up and down during a single exposure. With a zoom lens, I’ve experimented zooming during the time the shutter remains open.
Depends on what you wish to achieve. For the vertical lines that ‘fall to the sea’ I moved down. Other times I would ‘paint’ with the camera in all directions! 😉 I haven’t tried zooming.
I’m afraid I can’t take much credit for skill on those. I made a bunch of pictures at varying exposure times and with randomly different amounts of zooming. A lot of the results didn’t interest me, but at all it takes is a few good ones. Of course “good” is a subjective term, and a result that pleases me may not please other people.
In any case, I’d say it’s worth your while experimenting. You have nothing to lose but a little time.
Ah, thank you so much, my friend!
I’m not much of a word person… if I had a choice, I’d be silent. These are just a few words that come to mind as I look at the photos. 😉 Happy Tuesday! 🔆🌷
Adore your reign of love, raining on me!
I’ve got behind blogging, and will catch up best I can next week!
Have a sweet week, Dahling!

Ahhh…. but I thought it was both movement AND rain!
Wonderful!
It would be nice if it was both! 😉 xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
Sure thing 😉 xoxo

You can see three zoomed pictures at
They are brilliant! Especially the second one. Takes great skill to do these!

Indeed… and it’s fun too!
What gorgeous photos of a light rain.
Ah, thank you, Tim! You’d think it’s easy to make a small absolute vertical movement… but it’s not! 🤣
Not at all easy.
😉
I like these images very much, as well as the notion of light raining down.
So happy to hear that, Liz! Means a lot coming from you. Happy Tuesday! 🔆🌧🔆
I hope you’ve had a good Tuesday, Marina!
Thankfully the city is relatively quiet as it’s summer holidays for many, so it’s nice! Hope your Tuesday and Wednesday are beautiful.
My writing is going well, and all is well within my little world.
Wonderful to hear!!! 😘

Nice effects, beautiful results and photos, I like playing with light in photos, kind of mysterious and beautiful.
I like ICM very much! I see it as another kind of painting! 😉 Thank you, my friend.
Wonderful pictures, and your words are poetic. Do you write poems as well? Loving your posts. 🌹🤍🙋♂️
