Από σήμερα και σε όλη τη διάρκεια του Φλεβάρη θα ακούσουμε μουσική συνθετών γεννημένων αυτό το μήνα. Ξεκινώντας με τον Luigi Boccherini [1743 – 1805 ]. Η κύρια προσφορά του αξιοσημείωτου Ιταλού συνθέτη – τσελίστα εντοπίζεται στη μουσική που έγραψε για το αγαπημένο του όργανο.
Σε κομμάτια όπως το Grave Assai-Fandango από το τέταρτο Κουιντέτο του για Κιθάρα, ακούω νύξεις της τάσης που, στις μέρες μας [από τα ’70s και έπειτα] έχει δεσπόσει ως ambient music : ελαχιστοποίηση του μουσικού υλικού, επαναληπτικότητα, έμφαση στο ηχόχρωμα.✻
From today and throughout February we will be listening to music by composers born this month. Starting with Luigi Boccherini [1743 – 1805].
The main contribution of remarkable Italian composer – cellist is found in the music he wrote for his favorite instrument.
In pieces like this one, Grave Assai-Fandango from his fourth Guitar Quintet, I hear hints of what, nowadays [from the ’70s onwards] has dominated as a ambient music : minimization of musical material, repetitiveness, emphasis on timbre.
