  1. I’ve enjoyed revisiting all your featured artists, Marina. I’ve never seen, or at least remembered seeing, Modi’s landscapes. Gorgeous colors and that distinctive style of his. 🙂

    • This is not one of his characteristic paintings. He painted very few landscapes, so you may have seen some of his elongated portrairs.

    • He’s mainly known for his elongated figures / faces with ‘no eyes’. He didn’t paint many landscapes. If you check his tribute, you’ll probably recognize a few paintings. I like this very much too.
