In the United States, people in prisons were often clad in striped clothing so that in case anyone escaped he would be easily recognizable as a prisoner. Do the stripes have a special meaning in the Scorpio illustration? Similarly, does the fact that the star has eight points on it mean something?
Same in Greece too. In the 70s he used to draw suits and clothing with stripes a lot, as I recall, so I doubt there’s a connection. I have to ask him however about the star… hmmm….

They are very nice, so the talent keep flowing from father to daughter, my father did some pastel when he was young…but he never did draw after, but he saw when I was younger that I draw well…did not encourage me, to him I guess art was wasting $$$ I guess, but I think he would have like my works. Yeah April and May are beautiful months for a birthday, I try to keep on from now, almost completely retired now, but not from art 😀
