Υπό ιδανικές συνθήκες, το άκουσμα για μια τέτοια βραδυά δεν θα ήταν κάτι πανηγυρικό και θυρυβώδες, αλλά κάτι σαν αυτό εδώ : “Η Γέννηση του Κυρίου” αποτελείται από Εννέα Διαλογισμούς για εκκλησιαστικό όργανο. Ο Olivier Messiaen [1908-1992] συνέθεσε το μυστηριακό έργο σε ηλικία 26 χρόνων και το παρουσίασε για πρώτη φορά το 1935 στην εκκλησία της Αγίας Τριάδας στο Παρίσι, όπου υπηρετούσε ως οργανίστας.
Ακούμε τον Olivier Latry σε δυο από τα μέρη.

Ideally speaking, what someone would hear on such a night, wouldn’t be something exultant and clunky, but more like this one :“The Nativity of the Lord” consists of Nine Meditations for church organ. Olivier Messiaen [1908-1992] composed the arcane work at the age of 26 and presented it for the first time in 1935 at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Paris, where he served as organist.
We hear Olivier Latry in two of the parts.
