Οι Tallis Scholars, με την συνεπικουρία των Chilingirian Quartet αποδίδουν το καθηλωτικό Ikon Of Light του John Tavener [1944-2013]. Ο μεταφυσικών προσανατολισμών Βρετανός συνθέτης, εκπρόσωπος του ιερού μινιμαλισμού, συστήθηκε στο ευρύ κοινό από τους Beatles – το έργο του The Whale [1970] ήταν από τις πρώτες κυκλοφορίες της Apple Music. Ελάχιστα χρόνια αργότερα θα προσχωρούσε στο Ορθόδοξο Χριστιανικό Δόγμα, με τη μουσική του έντονα επηρεασμένη έκτοτε από αυτό.

The Tallis Scholars, supported by Chilingirian Quartet perform the riveting Ikon Of Light by John Tavener [1944-2013].
The metaphysically oriented British composer, a representative of sacred minimalism, was introduced to a wider audience by The Beatles – his work The Whale [1970] was one of the first releases on Apple Music. A few years later he would convert to the Orthodox Christian Dogma, with his music strongly influenced by it since then.
