German composer and flutist Johann Joachim Quantz [1697-1793] composed hundreds of sonatas and concerts exclusively for the flute, as well as a treatise – guide for the instruments players. His music was appreciated by artists such as Bach and Mozart. Mozartean also is the grace of this concert we hear, In G Major QV 5:174, performed by Alexandre Magnin and Baroque Strings Zurich.
