I was going to post Geza Anda’s version or “some other from my collection”. Searching for interpretations unknown to me, I fell into this one by Martin James Bartlett and the London Mozart Players. I decided to pick it, not as better of course, but as fresher.
At some point he misses a note, on an arpeggio of the left hand (3:17) but who cares. The guy is mean business – Mozart’ s spirit, “simple” as his music may sound, is one of the most difficult to interpret.
The piece – the concert’s finale – is staggering and the performance pays absolute justice to it.

Enjoy!

As always, I’m happy to hear your thoughts, however I’d highly recommend a direct dialogue with the …’source’ [why comments are closed here], so please visit Oannes’ page where you can also listen to the music !
