The significant composer & violist Frank Bridge was teacher and mentor to Benjamin Britten who had great esteem for his work. Like other British composers’, Bridge’s music was rediscovered around the end of the 20th century, having mostly stayed out of the modernist currents of its time. We hear his ‘Two Pieces’ for viola and piano.
