Το Rondo Capriccioso, Op 14, είναι ένα από τα διάσημα πιανιστικά έργα του Felix Mendelssohn. Το συνέθεσε όταν ήταν 21, έχοντάς το σχεδιάσει αρχικά σαν σπουδή για πιάνο, και στη συνέχεια προσθέτοντας μια andante εισαγωγή και προσαρμόζοντας το στο πλαίσιο μιας ευρύτερης σύνθεσης.
Ακούμε τη διασκευή του για βιολί και πιάνο από τον Abram Yampolsky [1890-1956]. Ερμηνεύει ο εκ-πληκ-τι-κός 15χρονος Αυστραλός βιολονίστας Christian Li – στο πιάνο ο Laurence Matheson.
Το ακούμε επίσης στην αυθεντική βερσιόν από τον μεγάλο Murray Perahia.

Rondo Capriccioso Op 14 is one of the famous piano works by Felix Mendelssohn. He composed it at 21, having designed it first as a piano study, then adding an andante intro and adapting it in the context of a larger composition.
We hear its arrangement for violin and piano by Abram Yampolsky [1890-1956]. It is performed by the a-ma-zing 15-year old Australian violinist Christian Li – Laurence Matheson is on the piano.
We also hear it on its original version, by the great Murray Perahia.
