Δύσκολα γίνεται πιστευτό ακούγοντάς τα, αλλά ο Frédéric Chopin έγραψε αυτά τα κομμάτια για εκπαιδευτικούς σκοπούς, για την βελτίωση της τεχνικής του σολίστα.
Οι Σπουδές του αποτελούν έκτοτε ένα από τα σημαντικότερα έργα της πιανιστικής φιλολογίας. Ακούμε 5 από την πρώτη δωδεκάδα, Op. 10.

Unbelievable as it may seem hearing them, Frédéric Chopin wrote these pieces for educational purpose, in terms of improving the soloist’s technique.
Since then, his Studies are considered among the most important works written for piano. We hear 5 from the first 12 of them, Op. 10.
In the unparalleled Maurizio Pollini’s second recording – DG, 1972
