Για πολλούς και διάφορους λόγους προτιμώ τα mp3 στα μουσικά posts από τα βίντεο. Αυτή εδώ, η live εκτέλεση (Argerich/Rabinovitch) του Κονσέρτου για Πιάνο No 1 του Prokofiev ανήκει στις εξαιρέσεις – “κάτι μου κάνει” η εικόνα του πιανιστικού τέρατος, και ο τρόπος με τον οποίο επικοινωνεί με τον μαέστρο και την ορχήστρα.
Το έργο είναι σε μια κίνηση, διαρκείας 16 λεπτών περίπου, ο τιμώμενος συνθέτης μας το ολοκλήρωσε το 1911 σε ηλικία 20 χρόνων – πρεμιέρα ένα χρόνο μετά με σολίστ τον ίδιο.

For many different reasons I prefer mp3s in music posts to videos. This live performance (Argerich/Rabinovitch) of Prokofiev’s First Piano Concerto is one of the exceptions – the piano beast’s spectacle, and the way she interacts with the conductor and the orchestra “do something to me”.
The work is in one movement, lasting about 16 minutes, our honored composer completed it in 1911 at the age of 20 – the premiere was one year later with him as soloist.
