Ένα ακόμα παιδί θαύμα που, όπως ο E.W. Korngold, προτίμησε τη Μεγάλη Οθόνη από τις συναυλιακές αίθουσες, ο επίσης Αυστριακός Max Steiner, υπήρξε ένας από τους πιο ταλαντούχους συνθέτες soundtracks όλων των εποχών. Ακούμε αποσπάσματα από τη μουσική του για την ταινία Four Wives του Michael Curtiz σε σύγχρονη, πιστή στο original score απόδοση από την National Philharmonic Orchestra (Charles Gerhardt).

Another wunderkind who, like E.W. Korngold chose the Silver Screen instead of the concert hall, the Austrian also Max Steiner, was one of the most gifted cinematic composers of all time. We hear excerpts from his music for Michael Curtiz’s movie Four Wives, in a contemporary performance faithful to the original score, by National Philharmonic Orchestra (Charles Gerhardt).
