Με τον όρο “art punk” είχα πρόβλημα ανέκαθεν, όπως και με την απόδοσή του σε μπάντες όπως οι Wire (και όχι …οι Buzzcocks ή οι Damned ας πούμε).
Αλλά για το ότι οι ρίζες του post-punk βρίσκονται σ’ αυτό το άλμπουμ – ντεμπούτο των φοβερών Λονδρέζων, ούτε συζήτηση.
Ακούμε 3 από τα μικροσκοπικής κυρίως διάρκειας κομμάτια του Pink Flag.

I’ve always had a problem with the term “art punk,” just as I have with its application to bands like Wire (and not, say, the Buzzcocks or the Damned).
But there’s no debate that the roots of post-punk lie in this album—the debut of those brilliant Londoners.
We’re listening to three of Pink Flag’s mostly very short tracks.
