  3. It’s clear to my razor-sharp mind that the supremely talented painter who created this is telling us– subconsciously, of course– something about herself: the soft yellow indicates that she’s a beautiful person, alive with light and warmth– someone who sees the beauty in the world and brings it to others. The crisp dashes of blue tell us she has a wild, passionate streak– that she’s vibrant and full of energy, and that thru her art, she makes bold proclamations, molding and shaping the world with her inner fire and truth.

That’s just my preliminary analysis, of course. I shall be submitting a full paper on the matter to the Sigmund Fraud Research Journal…

    March, Mars… that reminds me:

True story: when I was a young lad, there was a corner store just down the street. It was run by a kindly Italian immigrant named Mrs. Leo. She always liked me (I mean: who wouldn’t??). She knew every kid in the neighborhood by name.

But… she could never pronounce ‘Mark’ correctly. When I came in, she’d give me a big smile and say: “Hello, Mars.” My brother talks about it to this day. He tells me: She thought you were The God of War. Hmm… I didn’t think I looked that fierce. Well, I could be wrong… 😂😂😂

  4. Fabulous, gentle Spring day picture of joyous colours, ever so encouraging on yet a harsh cold Winter’s day in this part of the world, à la Marina, ever so creative!

    • Ah, Jean-Jacques, thank you so much! Eventhough it seems we’re having an early Spring, our winter had quite a few harsh and very cold outbreaks. Nice weather now though. Here’s to Spring’s blossoms! 🙂
