Γεννημένη σε μια εποχή που η καριέρα επαγγελματία συνθέτη ήταν αδιανόητη για γυναίκα, η FM ασχολήθηκε με τη σύνθεση, πιανιστικών κυρίως κομματιών, στο περιθώριο των καθηκόντων της ως “υπάκοης κόρης” αρχικά, μητέρας και συζύγου στη συνέχεια. Ευτύχησε να δει κάποια δημοσιευμένα με την υπογραφή του διάσημου αδελφού της Felix, ο οποίος την αγαπούσε και την υποστήριζε.

Born at a time when the career of a professional composer was unthinkable for a woman, FM was involved in the composition of mainly piano pieces, besides her initial role as an “obedient daughter”, and mother and wife later. She was fortunate to see some of it published under the name of her famous brother Felix, who loved and supported her.
