from Oannes blog…

They’re starting to open up the sky
They’re starting to reach down through
And it feels like we’re living in that split-second of a car crash
And time is slowing down
And if we only had a little more time
And this time is all there isDo you remember the time we…
And all the times we…
And should have…
And were going to…
I know
And I know you remember
How we could justify it all
And we knew better
In our hearts, we knew better
And we told ourselves it didn’t matter
And we chose to continue
And none of that matters anymore
In the hour of our twilight
And soon it will be all said and done
And we will all be back together as one
If we will continue at allShame on us
Doomed from the start
May God have mercy on our dirty little hearts
Shame on us

More about these reblogs
Lately I have been rebloging music videos from Oannes new blog. For my friends who didn’t know, or wonder why…. Oannes [aka Socratis Papahatzis] is my husband, partner in life and music and the one with my undying admiration. Together we have a band MK-O [the music of Marina Kanavaki & Oannes]. So, it’s my pleasure to share with you his [and mine] musical selections. • Although here I reblog mainly his musical selections, he writes exceptional articles on various topics [some may need translation], so do visit his site. He has my highest recommendation!

I love this song so much one of my favorite tracks from ‘Year Zero’.
The lyrics are hypnotic and sad.
Here’s one for you:
Nine Inch Nails – Tetsuo: The Bullet Man Theme
Sad, yet …true.
I thought it might be, Charlie! Mine too!
Wow, I hadn’t heard it… I guess his Ministry schooling is paying off [;-)] !!
Here’s another colab I think you’ll enjoy…
I love David bowie and Trent’s collaboration in this. My favorite.
And speaking of Ministry.
Have you seen this live performance by Ministry this year. He played all old school songs.
Ministry Live @ Teragram Ballroom Wax Trax! Records (4/23/19)
I hadn’t… cheers for that! Lots of my faves in there!!!!!!!!!!!! 😉
I love his new version to ‘Stigmata’. It sounds different in a good way. You’ll notice it. 🙂
I did and I agree! (one of the faves I was referring to! 😉 ) 🙂
🙂 🙂 So glad you enjoyed the concert show he had this year. By far the best. 🙂
What an amazing band. I remember when Pretty Hate Machine came out – it’s amazing how well some of their music still stands up.
That was -and probably still is- my favorite album of theirs. I agree and well, Trent certainly had a great ‘school’ before NIN… Ministry!
