Eight years ago… I remember it well. It was a very dark time. The world seemed bleak, hopeless. I was lying in the gutter, wondering if I should get up and put another coin in the parking meter, when a complete stranger came up to me– well, down to me, actually– and shoved an iPad in my hands and cried: “Check this out, you poor wino!!”
It was… Art Towards A Happy Day. A yellow half-and-half tree. It filled me with hope, and the most inexplicable happiness. It changed my life… I’m still lying in the gutter, but now there’s a big smile on my face. 🍨😋
