A series of short videos, or, movements that …moved me.
Some time ago,
on a windy day
while walking on a hill
the wind would push me forward
and on the next turn
it would slow me down,
struggling to take one step.
But what a joy it was,
looking up!

Moving Clouds
excuse the shaky hand… the wind wouldn’t let me stand still!

Cloud stills…

Enjoy a beautiful Tuesday

This series of posts is linked to “Earth Nerve Net“.
Sometimes the eye captures an image, sometimes a movement and others a movement with sound. Most of these “Moved by Motion” posts are with sound on, essential for a fuller experience, hence, no [other] music to accompany them. I hope you enjoy.

Great combination!
Is, isn’t it?! Thanks, my friend! 🙂 Have a great weekend… and February! 🙂
Gorgeous! I love clouds, looking at them, making up shapes and stories with them.
Unfortunately, these days we have cloud, one big dark grey cloud over the sky, blocking the sun.
Anyway, glad you survived the wind. I’ve had to hold onto telephone poles on occasion.
How did Hera hold up in the wind?
Funny, but I have a slight craving for a marshmallow, now.

It’s the ‘Hera effect’… she always brings up something soft sweet and smoochy when you think of her!!!!! 😉🤣 On clouds… we’re having our warm winter break (round January for a couple of weeks) and the clouds are just perfect against a radiant blue sky. The grey cloud you speak of will be here too at some point! Hope you’re enjoying a wonderful weekend and…. Happy February!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
LOVE!!
Yeah.. I’m a slave to smooching the pets. How lucky we are to have these beautiful creatures of earth living with us. I’d love to have a goat, but Norm says the backyard isn’t big enough, and there is no way Jeep is sharing the bed. ❤ ❤ ❤ xxoxo
A ha ha… as we would love to have a donkey! Hera says she understands Jeep for not wanting to share the bed!!!! 😉🐾🤗😘❤❤❤❤
I love looking up at the sky. Your videos reminded me of an ancient who said of the sky and heavens:
“I know that I am mortal by nature, and ephemeral; but when I trace at my pleasure the windings to and fro of the heavenly bodies I no longer touch the earth with my feet: I stand in the presence of Zeus himself and take my fill of ambrosia”
Ptolemy, Ptolemy’s Almagest
Ah Rebecca… he knew exactly what he was talking about didn’t he?! What I loved about those clouds is that they were moving in layers and different speed and if you watch long enough, you feel you’re flying with them… ❤
I’m in the process of learning how to grow wings to fly. Will let you know my progress.
I’d love to know!!!!!!! 😉 xoxoxoxo
Oh Marina this is so beautiful , your words and lovely photographs are perfection. ❤️🤗❤️
My dear Holly, you are too kind (especially the word part!), but I really did nothing but stand still (well as much as I could with the wind) and watch, full senses alert! Thank you for bring so sweet. ❤🤗❤
It’s a lovely combination Marina! ❤️🤗❤️

Yes! Watching the sky reflect in the water is a fascinating way to spend time. The almost infinite palette is exquisite when put on film or canvas, but nothing beats the first hand experience. Beautiful Tuesday to you too!
Thank you, my dear Mary Jo! Yes, a first hand experience is irreplaceable. Enjoy a beautiful day! hugs! xoxo
Clouds can bring a calm, cause a dream, heighten anticipation, and more. This just hit me – clouds would be a wonderful beach walk topic. 🙂
Oh, it would, wouldn’t it?!!!! Maybe something to ponder while off grid and maybe even a come back! 😉 I’ve always found the reflection of clouds on the sea fascinating and how the sea changes color from the sky/clouds, turning from grey black to turquoise! Sigh…
