After several months of my sun hiding behind buildings, it’s back!
My sunrise has just spread its first rays for this year!
A time I always look forward to.
From October on I see it gradually moving behind the buildings.
So here are the first rays and their hues reflected on the clouds on the opposite side …towards the west.
…becoming more and more golden
The last two shots were taken with my phone camera [featured image too]. Although detail and layers are lost, I love the blinding yellow!
Here’s to more [visible] sunrises! 😉

What light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Marina is the sun.
What light from yonder white box breaks? It is the refrigerator light, and Ambrosia is the moon, rising above the rim of a very large bowl.

With pleasure… here you are…. Did you get it? We had full sunshine today, even if the temp was from 0-4°C! Brrrr! I so look forward to this every year because for 3+ months, I can’t see the sunrise. Of course, I could bring those buildings down to clear the view but… I think some people might not appreciate it! 🤔 So, did you get the sun I sent?
