February Snow Moon

February Moon is Full already!

…and, conveniently, rose from a visible view [to me], and good time!
In fact, if I hadn’t seen it yesterday, rising just behind my screen [!], I might have missed this month’s full moon, today!
I’m glad I took shots of it yesterday though, because the clouds made it much more interesting then today…

So here is yesterday’s Moon

Yep, that’s Gandalf gazing at the Moon.
Gandalf is here too!

…and today’s Full Moon

[prepared and waiting for it on top of a building in the freezing cold for half an hour before it appeared, like a late bride! 😉 ]
So, what do you think?
Today the Moon was -obviously- full, big[!] and beautifully golden,
however, yesterday, the sea of clouds and the hues due to the time of day [sunset], were more of a treat to me!

Happy Sunday!

and week ahead!

  1. I especially liked that last shot. See that bright spot at the lower left? That’s someone opening their refrigerator door to get another dish of ambrosia. I’ve seen that sort of glow many times, and recognized it immediately… 🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨😋

    • Zeus has ordered a special refrigerator just for you… all this ambrosia.. he wants you to have it cool! The new trend: ice-ambrosia! 🍨❄️🍨❄️🍨❄️🍨❄️🍨❄️🍨❄️🍨❄️🍨❄️🍨❄️🍨❄️🍨❄️🍨❄️

  2. It was a beautiful moon, Marina! You captured such amazing photographs; I’m so impressed. And I loved that you managed to catch Gandalf admiring it as well. 🙂

  3. The late bride! lol… where is she? I’m sick and tired of all this single jazz.. 😁 seems all the good ones are taken… 😁 an unwritten law ?? 😁 Nice cosmic photos… very gripping.😺

      • I guess… I’m so used to the spiritual ‘merry-go-round’ that sometimes I wonder if I really could settle for one! 😁 But then my conventional side longs for just that… can’t win!!! Or can I? 😁 Thanks for your encouragement. 😊

  4. We had a beautiful moon here yesterday. It was the first time we had seen the sky in days. The rain has cleared for a few days. It gives me great comfort to know that we may be on opposite sides of the world and yet, we are looking at the same moon. Hugs!
