Raindrops falling on the leaves
Hoping they’ll clear some of the dust that visited us a couple of days ago.
And here’s an abstract on the same subject! 😉

Hah! But Ugh. We had a few days in a row. And the sun finally really came out yesterday and it was 10°C – some crazies were running in shorts…
Enjoy your sun! xoxoxo

Marina,
It took me a while to answer you because it is difficult to describe. Please pardon me if I’m wrong. 🙂
There is something that happens in each of our brains that is idiosyncratic to that person. So, when I look at that abstract, it’s like you found the literal algorithm that most expresses what you do naturally when you watercolor. I think it’s akin to what the impressionists do. They squint at something in real life they are interested in, reducing it to it’s blurry watery essence which they capture on canvas. You do all that in your head without having to think about how you do it.

I think you’ve put in words something that happens automatically. I have never actually thought of it but you are right and this is a great point you’re making. Thank you for this! Happy April btw… goodness where did March go?!

Speaking of nature and leaves and trees, Timothy is sending me some pics of trees later today. I’ll get them off to you, asap!

I’ve just downloaded the tree pics onto my desktop. My back is going crazy, so I’m gonna hop in the shower to loosen it up. Then I’ll sent the trees!!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

And you think you’re not a real photographer. Ha! I do remember working a construction job when the song was current. A redneck carpenter with his mouth full of nails was pounding away while singing “raindrops keep falling on my f—in’ head.“

Keep shooting. You’ll come around. I know an artist when I see one. It’s perfectly acceptable, indeed most wonderful, to be an artist in several different means of expression.

Great song, Marina. Takes me back to AM car radio… btw, I thought I’d mention this for S. He probably already knows about it but what the heck… I know he uses OB-Xd. https://www.kvraudio.com/news/julian-pollack-j3po-releases-free-ob-xd-synth-bank-48050 I tested them out with an alt email address (to avoid spam) and they’re okay… 🙂

Does doesn’t it?! As for the OB-Xd…. nope we don’t but sounds great to install. For now we’re under an ‘acoustic’ period of our music life! 😉

That’s cool. I’m trying to get my left hand (right brain?) going better with live keys. It’s very sluggish where my right hand can fly. 😊
