A feathered friend gave me a heads up!
Moon was 99% full!

Spectacular, Marina Lucky you! Fab shots. We rarely get any great shots of the sun rising over the high rises, setting behind the high rises or the moon doing anything. Sometimes the clouds clear up, and there it is!…The moon in the sky.

Awwww…. we’re keeping you busy! 😉 I was lucky to be in Theologos when I took those shots. It’s always so nice there. As I often say, if only we could live there permanently. Cities are killers of night skies!

My favorite Respighi is the “The Pines of Rome,” with its dramatic build-up at the end.
Brilliant built up indeed. Not the version I had in mind (Rieu) but does it justice.
