The Tubes were one of the most interesting bands to start their career in the ’70s America. With endless references to “diverse” musical genres [Zappa, Beefheart were among their main influences] humor and pioneering ideas in the field of visuals and stage presence, the Californians runned a spectacular trajectory for 2 decades.
Here is the introduction of their debut album – a taste of what was to follow…

❝ Tell me how you want it
And that’s we’ll play it
Listen to our single
Watch how they play it
Tell me how you want it
That’s how I’ll have our guitar
Player, roger steen, play it
Play this song together
That’s how we like it
And all my boys will play along
Even if they don’t like the song
Even if the progression’s wrong
Wake us up from a sleep
Comin’ up from the deep

Enjoy!

and

Stay Safe!
