The Bill Evans Trio [BE – piano, Chuck Israels – bass, Larry Bunker – drums] collaborates with a symphony orchestra on a series of themes, classical and contemporary, under the direction of Claus Ogerman, composer, arranger and emblematic figure of the “third stream” [ = a genre that sits between classical music’s demand for structure, and a jazz-related sense of freedom]. We hear them on a theme by Enrique Granados.

Enjoy!
