Το Happy Trails των Quicksilver Messenger Service είναι από τα άλμπουμ που η πρώτη τους ακρόαση μένει ανεξίτηλη, σαν “εμπειρία ζωής” – έτσι τουλάχιστον λειτούργησε για μένα.
Τους ακούμε στο “Mona”, ένα τραγούδι του Bo Diddley που είναι και το τιμώμενο πρόσωπο στο μεγαλύτερο μέρος της ηχογράφησης. Blues και ψυχεδέλεια, “ βιβλικά” σόλο από τις κιθάρες των John Cipollina, Gary Duncan.

Quicksilver Messenger Service’s Happy Trails is one of the albums that the first time you hear them remains indelible, like a “life experience” – this was the way it was for me anyway.
We hear “Mona”, a Bo Diddley song, who happens to be the honored person during the most part of the recording. Blues & psychedelia, historic solos from the legendary guitar players John Cipollina, Gary Duncan.
