My dear Jak, I am running out of thank you phrases, or at least I feel that they are not enough!!! 🙂 Yasou, my friend and I hope you have a wonderful April.
In the midst of changes / well! You?
no, thats quite ok, marina!
i understand what you mean..its not necessary for you to send thank-you’s every time i comment on your work!
but its the least i can do…for you obvioulsy have phenomenal talent.
just wish i could find some spare time to get o with my own watercolors…:(
But, my friend it is not out of necessity or obligation, it’s just that I don’t feel it’s enough! So here it is, symbolically in capital letters: THANK YOU! 🙂
And here’s a wish from me: may you soon start doing your watercolors!!!! 🙂
I see lots of figures in there. Like spirits walking along the water’s edge.
Oh, I realy like that, “spirits walking along the water’s edge”! Thank you! Funny how various entities creep into a painting, huh?! 😉
Perhaps some of the entities we hold within get reflected in other people’s work. I find perception fascinating. Your art has been a joy to explore!
That means a lot! Thank you! You may be right. After all each vision is unique. A happy Monday and new week! 🙂
from God’s lips to my eyes – ethereal beauty weaving sun blessed sea into my gray and rainy Vancouver day – thank you Marina…
Oh, Vancouver maybe rainy and and gray but your world is a burst of color and beauty, so how flattered am I?! …very! Thank you, my friend.
Just lovely!
Oh, thank you, Celeste!! 🙂
The deep blue and orange look amazing together! Beautiful!
Ah, thank you, Jess! 🙂
Like the sea and the morning sky meets.
Thank you for your beautiful comment, Yellow Cable.
Beautiful! I love the vibrant, fiery sunset! It reminds me of the spectacular romantic sunsets hubby and I saw in Santorini during our honeymoon many years ago.
Thank you for bringing back those wonderful memories!
🙂
Now I feel even happier! Thank you so much for this lovely comment. I have never been there but I know island sunsets. They are so beautiful. I hope you go there again. 🙂
Aah, what a stunning seascape! Love those intense hues….would love to witness that sunset in person 🙂
Ah, thank you, Madhu! Easy: travel to Greece!! 🙂
Marine, you are so talented! This is beautiful!
Oh, thank you, Beki, I’m so happy you like it! 🙂
These are so beautiful, Marina..I just love the orange/blue combination. It’s funny that years ago, I wasn’t that fond of the color orange and now I love it! Beautiful work! xx
It is funny how we change with time isn’t it?! I used to be a black and red person! Now with a slight tendency towards greens and purples I am just crazy with all colors!!
Thank you, my dear Lauren! 🙂
Well, I am, too, and it’s good to have a life full of color! Have a wonderful day, Marina!
You too, and a great new week! 🙂
These are SO invigorating. It’s like if you blurred your vision and watched a sunset this is what you would see! Bravo!
Oh, I like that and you are right!!! Thank you very much, Jasmine!! Happy weekend, my dear! 🙂
Have a wonderful weekend to!
Beautiful tones, Marina – somehow brings back a bit nostalgic memories about beautiful summer sunsets for me 🙂

“by the sea of Theologos.” that changes everything for me. i love these for their largeness of spirit, and depth of inner vision. xo tony
Oh, Tony, what a compliment!!! Thank you, from my heart for these words. 🙂
This is lovely Marina! The sky is absolutely captivating. The Sea of Theologos (word of God), very cool name for a body of water and delightfully painted.
Thank you very much!! 🙂 Theologos (you’re right, it means word of God), is a beautiful small village in central Greece by the sea. I’m so glad you like my rather abstract version of it! If you wish to see some views of the place, check here: https://marinakanavaki.com/2013/09/18/back-looking-back/
