The leading violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter is soloist and conductor of the London Philharmonic Orchestra. We hear the first part Allegro Maestoso, of Sinfonia Concertante, for violin and viola, the masterpiece Wolfgang Amadeus composed in 1779, at the age of 23. Yuri Bashmet is on the viola.
