Μαθητής του Ρίμσκι-Κόρσακοφ αλλά κυρίως επηρεασμένος απ΄ τον Τσκαϊκόφσκι, ο Αντόν Αρένσκι άργησε να κερδίσει την εκτίμηση που του άξιζε, στιγματισμένος σαν συνθέτης “χωρίς ιδιαίτερα προσωπικό στιλ” – κατηγορία γελοία ούτως ή άλλως, αλλά και άδικη ως προς αυτόν.
Ακούμε το υπέροχο Allegro Moderato, πρώτο μέρος από το πιάνο τρίο, έργο αρ. 32. Ερμηνεύουν οι Claremont Trio.

A student of Rimsky-Korsakov but mainly influenced by Tchaikovsky, Anton Arensky was slow to gain the appreciation he deserved, stigmatized as a composer “without a particularly personal style” – an accusation ridiculous in itself to begin with, but also unfair to him.
We hear the brilliant Allegro Moderato, first part of his piano trio Op. 32. Performed by the Claremont Trio.
