Από την πληθώρα των πιανιστικών κυρίως έργων του ακούμε 2 μέρη από τη σουίτα Esquisses de crimée, Op. 8: I. The Rocks of Uch-Kosh [00:00], III. Oriental Idyll [06:32]

The composer and pianist Sergei Bortkiewicz, indifferent to / unable to keep up with the modern trends of his time formed a nostalgic, melodic idiom influenced by 19th century romantics like Chopin, Liszt, Wagner, and the traditional music of his homeland, Ukraine.
From the plethora of his mainly pianistic works we hear 2 parts from the suite Esquisses de crimée, Op. 8: I. The Rocks of Uch-Kosh [00:00], III. Oriental Idyll [06:32]

Enjoy!
