Ο Sergei Mikhailovich Lyapunov, ένας ακόμα από τους Ρώσους συνθέτες του 19ου αι. που εμπνεύσθηκαν από την παραδοσιακή μουσική της πατρίδας τους, διακρίθηκε για τα πιανιστικά του έργα, ιδίως τις Σπουδές Υπερβατικής Δεξιοτεχνίας που έγραψε στα ίχνη του Liszt.
Ακούμε μια από αυτές, και στη συνέχεια ένα από τα Έξι Εύκολα Κομμάτια του.
Ερμηνεύει ο Bertrand Chamayou.

Sergei Mikhailovich Lyapunov, another 19th-century Russian composer inspired by the traditional music of his homeland, was noted for his piano works, especially his Transcendental Studies in Liszt’s footsteps.
We hear one of them, and then one of his Six Easy Pieces.
