Ο Vangelis έγραψε τη σπουδαία μουσική του για το τηλεοπτικό ντοκιμαντέρ του Frederic Rossif ‘L’ Apocalypse Des Animaux’ το 1970 [περίοδος Aphrodite’s Child]. Χαρακτηριστικό του status του άλμπουμ : στάθηκε η αφορμή για την γνωριμία του με τον Jon Anderson που τηλεφώνησε στο συνθέτη, ενθουσιασμένος από αυτό.

Vangelis wrote his great music for Frederic Rossif TV documentary ‘L’ Apocalypse Des Animaux’ in 1970 [Aphrodite’s Child era]. Distinctive of the album’s status : it was the reason for his acquaintance with Jon Anderson, who phoned the composer, excited by it.
