Just a stupid note.
I like to listen to Oannes when I blog.
Often, not always, I comment.
Last 2- 3 days when I comment, the routine is different.
Before – it would say submitting comment, then a pause, then back up to the top banner and I would see the Logo fill in.
Now – it says submitting comment, but that’s it. No more wait, no going to the top and watching the banner Logo fill in.
I mention this in case I’m going into SPAM!

Hey, Canada’s main internet provider (we only have 2) went down for 24 hours, then was spotty for 24, and is still having issues.
It was cash only!! No ATMs, no Interac, no gas without cash, restaurants and on and on.

If there are only 2 companies, there’s no real competition. Canada has some of the highest internet/cell prices in the world.
The larger company almost just bought the other one. Then we would pay in blood.
We need more competition.
Land wise Canada is the second largest country in the world. 90% of our population is along our southern border with the USA.
It costs a lot to bring this infrastructure to all of our country.
China made an offer to build our G5 network in the rest of the country. We said yes… then after the USA & Europe went nuts on us we (our gov’t) changed our minds.
China wants Canada’s massive natural resources.
It goes on & on. In the meantime….. most think China is behind it, or russia on behalf of both russia and China.
