from Oannes *

Μη όντας δεινός γνώστης της World Music, αυτή είναι η μόνη μπάντα αποτελούμενη από Ισραηλινούς και Παλαιστίνιους που ξέρω. Και είναι, σε στιγμές τουλάχιστον όπως αυτή εδώ, συναρπαστική.
Οι Bustan Abraham [=Ο Κήπος του Αβραάμ, κοινή ρίζα της εβραϊκής, χριστιανικής και μουσουλμανικής θρησκείας] διέγραψαν μια πορεία 12 χρόνων, βασικά στα ‘90s, και κυκλοφόρησαν 5 άλμπουμ. Το ‘Muwashah’ προέρχεται από το δεύτερό τους, Pictures Through The Painted Window.
Τους ακούμε για το “μήνυμα”, αλλά και τη μουσική τους.

Not being a World Music aficionado, this is the only band consisted of Israelis and Palestinians that I know. And they are, at least in moments like this, fascinating.
Bustan Abraham [=The Garden of Abraham, common root of Jewish, Christian and Muslim religions] followed a course of 12 years, basically in the ’90s, and released 5 albums. ‘Muwashah’ comes from their second album, Pictures Through The Painted Window.
So here’s for the “message”, and the music as well.
