Ο έξοχος Julian Lage, ανακάλυψη του Gary Burton και ένας από τους καλύτερους κιθαρίστες της γενιάς του, έχει ένα ιδιαίτερο τρόπο να αναμιγνύει τα χρώματα της jazz, του blues, του hillbilly και της country …και μια απαράμιλλη τεχνική την οποία προς τιμήν του σπανίως επιδεικνύει. Τον ακούμε σε ένα κομμάτι από το “συναισθηματικό του άλμπουμ” κατά βάσιν με covers από το American songbook.

The excellent Julian Lage, a Gary Burton‘s discovery and one of the best guitar players of his generation, has a unique way of mixing jazz, blues, hillbilly and country colors …and a breathtaking technique which, to his honor, seldom demonstrates. We hear a track from his “sentimental album”, basically of covers from the American songbook.
