Κάποιες από τις ερμηνείες του σονατών του LVB αποτελούν σημεία αναφοράς [θα ακούσουμε μερικές, Θεού θέλοντος]. Εδώ ο μεγάλος Καναδός βρίσκεται αντιμέτωπος με το “ακατόρθωτο” : μεταφορά στο πιάνο του ορχηστρικού υλικού της Πέμπτης Συμφωνίας, μέσα από τη μεταγραφή του Liszt. Ακούμε το Allegro Con Brio.

Some of his interpretations of LVB’s sonatas are points of reference [we will hear some, God willing]. Here the great Canadian is confronted with the “impossible”: the transfer of Fifth Symphony’s orchestral material to the piano, through Liszt’s transcription. We hear Allegro Con Brio.
