Ένας από τους πολλούς συνθέτες που έχουν μελοποιήσει τον λατινικό ύμνο “Ένα παιδί Γεννήθηκε Στη Βηθλεέμ” [13ος αι.] είναι ο Γερμανός συνθέτης εκκλησιαστικής και κοσμικής μουσικής, οργανίστας και θεωρητικός Michael Praetorius [1571-1621], από τους επιφανέστερους της εποχής του. One of many who have set the Latin hymn “A Child Was Born In Bethlehem” [13th century] to music, is the German composer of sacred and secular works, organist and theoretician Michael Praetorius [1571-1621], one of the prominent of his time. We hear Gabrieli Consort & Players, under the direction of Paul McGreesh.
